CM&A wins ADDY’s at District
Awards are entered in Nationals in Nashville, Tenn. for the final tier of the competition
Cornerstone Marketing & Advertising, Inc. was recognized for advertising excellence by the Fourth District Advertising Federation at the recent 2005 District ADDY Awards & Gala held at the Presidential Ballroom in Orlando, Fla. on May 14, 2005. The Fourth District encompasses advertising professionals from throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Cornerstone was awarded the following District ADDY awards: two Golds and one Silver ADDY for “Her Story” created for Hampton Island, as well as a Silver ADDY for “A Thing” website created for Sugar Beach Interiors.
The ADDY competition begins at the local level from which all winners may proceed to regional completions known as Districts. There are 15 Districts across the country, of which gold award winners will automatically advance to the national ADDY finals on June 7, 2005 in Nashville, Tenn.
The 4th District is comprised of over 2,000 members representing 19 senior clubs and 4 Ad 2 chapters in Florida and the Caribbean, and are an integral part of a massive 50,000 member national organization that represents virtually every facet of the advertising industry. The 4th District is widely recognized within the AAF as one of the leading districts in the country with many traditions and scores of outstanding individuals, who over the years have made invaluable contributions to our long and colorful history.
Cornerstone recently won a total of 35 awards in the local competition this past February at the Sandestin Hilton. The award-winning client list included the following clients: Hampton Island, Cruise for the Cure, Sugar Beach Interiors, The Lighthouse Family Retreat, Wild Heron, Destin Jewelers, The Village of Baytowne Wharf, and Destin Real Estate Company.
Cornerstone bills itself as “an idea boutique” that specialized in award-winner advertising campaigns, public relations, marketing, and consulting for real estate developments, retailers, resorts and financial institutions. Located in Grayton Beach, Florida, Cornerstone functions as a “think tank” for intelligent, fresh and luminous ideas to flourish into advertising and marketing programs.
