Larger-than-life pop artist Ashley Longshore is known for her tongue-in-cheek commentary on modern fashion, pop culture, and society. She’s also a purveyor of all things beautiful, colorful, and fun. In January of 2018, Longshore became the first solo artist to take over Bergdorf Goodman’s annual artist in residency on the seventh floor. She also worked with Bergdorf’s senior director of visual presentation, David Hoey, on a series of window displays along Fifth Avenue. The Idea Boutique and VIE magazine were honored to be invited to cover the grand opening event, followed by a private photo shoot with Longshore throughout the illustrious Bergdorf Goodman department store for VIE‘s May 2018 cover story. We worked closely with Longshore’s team as well as the marketing team at BG and photographer Carlo Pieroni on this colorful photo shoot, which was a blast!
