This food truck is conveniently tucked between The C-Bar and 87 Central Square in the Great Southern Plaza in the heart of Seaside, Florida. Serving your favorite handcrafted sushi rolls, poke bowls, and more from other Chef Jim Shirley restaurants, including The Bay and Farm & Fire, Ziggy’s is your one-stop shop for high-quality Japanese creations on the go.

For this old-school food truck meets new-school brand, The Idea Boutique team wanted to celebrate the food truck’s namesake, Ziggy the Seaside Cat, as well as the traditional Japanese motif of the “Lucky Cat.” Taking inspiration from some vintage characters, the style is heavily line-based to make for easy application both online and off. As a food truck, Ziggy’s is fun, playful, and youthful. The cat on the surfboard harks to the Seaside location as he’s hanging ten with chopsticks in hand (well, paw), ready to roll up to the truck for his sushi fix! 

The logo itself is versatile, with a web-friendly typeface and several iterations of layouts, marks, and icons that can be switched up in many applications, from merch to social media and video content. We believe customers will grow quite attached to Ziggy and want to take him home on a T-shirt, trucker hat, or sake set.
